Since the program’s inception in 2001, 172 skilled graduate students have served nearly 80 public and nonprofit organizations in the Lehigh Valley through the Community Fellows Program.

Northampton County Children's Advocacy Center

Dominique is a Community Fellow with The Department of Human Services, County of Northampton. She is assisting the Director of Human Services and other department staff in the development of a Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) which will serve the children of Northampton County. Children’s Advocacy Centers are child-focus, facility-based programs in which representatives from various disciplines: law enforcement, child protection, prosecution, mental health, medical and victim advocacy –work together making team decisions about the investigation, treatment, management, and prosecution of child abuse cases. Dominique currently serves as the programs administrative officer of the CAC project. She will research how other CACs around the country operate, write policies and procedures for the new CAC, and assist in the incorporation and organization of the CAC. Dominique is a M.A. candidate in Political Science.
