Since the program’s inception in 2001, 172 skilled graduate students have served nearly 80 public and nonprofit organizations in the Lehigh Valley through the Community Fellows Program.

Bethlehem Community Collaborative

Brittany is a Community Fellow with the Bethlehem Community Collaborative, undertaking two youth- focused projects this year. She is coordinating volunteer-based after school enrichment programs at Donegan Elementary School where she will develop a sustainable volunteer-based model for after school programming. Brittany is also working with students from Freedom and Liberty High Schools to develop the new Bethlehem Area Youth Council, a BCC project designed to engage and empower youth in the city. She will facilitate meetings, serve as a resource for the students, coordinate events with local government, educational and business leaders, and assist the students to create and develop their own leadership project on an issue of their choice throughout the year. Brittany is a M.A. candidate in Political Science.
