Christina is working at Broughal Community School through Lehigh University’s Center for Developing Urban Educational Leaders. At Broughal, Christina’s primary responsibility is to coordinate the Broughal Middle School Greenhouse Gardening Club and oversee the renovations of the Broughal Middle School’s greenhouse. This will involve creating a curriculum for garden club students that supplements classroom learning, developing community outreach programs to educate the Broughal Community about gardening, and grant writing to financially sustain both the greenhouse and the garden club. Christina will also be organizing health and environmental programs for Broughal families throughout the year. Christina is an M.A. candidate in Environmental Policy Design.
